L'Azure Restaurant
On the sprawling property of the Crane Hotel, Resort and Residences in the parish of St. Philip on the east coast of Barbados, there sits L’ Azure Restaurant. Reknowned for years for its international fare and long recognised for its seafood, L’Azure restaurant is positioned so as to provide phenomenal ocean views while partaking in an absolutely delightful dining experience.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and, for some, the ambience may be classified as unsurpassable. With a crisp, sharp breeze blowing off the Atlantic and the surrounding beauty of the gardens and other shrubbery, one feels like a true vacationer once at the Crane.
For breakfast, visitors to the restaurant can enjoy either a simple continental breakfast or a full spread. With the latter, a selection can be made from eggs, pancakes, tea, juices, banana bread and teas and coffee. There is a "Crane Breakfast" and an a la carte menu, from which items can be selected at will.
For lunch, patrons can gorge themselves on the fine cooking at L’Azure. This menu offers such delicacies as The Crane's famous Fish Cakes to start. From the salad menu, Garden Salad with Sun Blushed tomatoes and from the Grill and Range, one can choose from several temptingly sounding items. There is even a Pasta and Wok section, under which one can find a special combination of Penne Pasta with toasted Pine Nuts, Roasted Chicken and Pesto.
When evening approaches and it is time to have dinner, there is no place like L'Azure to meet that need. "La carte du jour" provides options under "Flatbreads", Salads, Small Salads, Entree Salads, Fish and Seafood, Poultry and Meat and of course decadent-sounding Desserts.
