It succumbed to neglect after the introduction of the telephone to the island but was subsequently restored by the Barbados Wildlife Reserve with help from the Barbados National Trust.

Locals and visitors to the island of Barbados should find this particular signal station an interesting site as both lovers of history and nature can't help but stand in awe of how much really surrounds them.

This site is a combination of a restored historic signal station and an extended natural forest where some of the healing wonders of Barbados can be found.  Currently Farley Hill, this forest land was once part of the Grenade Hall Plantation.

The other signal station that is opened to the public of Barbados and tourists is the Gun Hill Signal Station.
