Fisherman's Pub & Beach Bar

Fisherman's Pub and Beach Bar combines authentic Barbados cuisine with a scenic and historic location. Nestled on Queen's Street in the picturesque northern town of Speightstown, Fishermans Pub has blossomed from humble beginnings, originally a rum shop selling drinks like local rums and beer along with eats like ham and cheese cutters to the many (at the time) American sailors and fisher folk that plied their trade and made their home in the once vibrant fisheries centre.

These days, Fisherman's Pub has made a name for itself as a wildly popular beach bar and restaurant catering to Barbadians and visitors alike with mouth-watering and authentic Barbadian culinary delights. From the bar menu or a Creole buffet one can choose sumptuous dishes like pepper pot, the national dish of cou-cou and flying-fish; any of several chicken dishes, peas and rice, or sweet potatoes with lamb.

Feel free to enjoy your repast and beverage in the cosy décor of the Pub, or on the terrace shaded by umbrella and caressed by cooling breezes along Barbados' north-western coastline; all the while listening to a charming mix of lapping Caribbean waves and pulsing calypso music.
