Accommodation options in the interior of the island are not as prevalent but they do exist.

These small guest houses offer you an affordable way to immerse yourself in the culture of the island of Barbados in a more authentic way; you get to live close to the locals and see the island from quite a unique perspective. Many of the guest houses, even though they may be situated away from the beach, are quite often close enough that you could walk to the beach or take a short bus ride to the coast.
Additionally, many guest houses also offer a few extras (car rentals, airport collection & drop off, beach chair and towel rentals and even cellular phone rentals) to make your stay in Barbados just that more comfortable.
