South Coast Hotels

The south coast of the island of Barbados is typically a much livelier place than the more sedate west coast. The south coast offers quite a few options in terms of nightlife; they are numerous restaurants, night clubs, bars and not to mention the several 'windows to the Sea', several of which are framed by the many accommodation options which are available along this coastline.

The south coast has something for everyone; it offers access to historic Bridgetown, the lively St. Lawrence Gap and the phenomenal Oistins.

Hotels on the south coast vary in costs so finding one that tailors to your budget should not be an issue at all. Additionally, the main road along the south coast runs directly along the shoreline which provides excellent access to transportation for all of the amenities on the south coast or anywhere else on the island of Barbados where you might want to explore.

The south coast also has many local rum shops and shops where you can sample many of the traditional Bajan delicacies. The adventurous among you is always catered for as well with many venues for wind surfing, skiing and surfing. Not to mention the many dive shops from which you could book a dive tour to explore Barbados' rich coral reefs.
